Over 300 employees make up our Public Health Agency serving over 120,000 residents within Bell, Clay, Harlan, Jackson, & Rockcastle counties. We provide clinic, home health, environmental, and school health services, as well as many specialized individual and population-based health programs.

What is KCHIP?The Kentucky Children's Health Insurance Program (KCHIP) is free or low cost health insurance for children. KCHIP is for children under the age of 19 who do not have health insurance and whose family income is below 200 percent of the federal poverty level.
