LOCAL HEALTH NURSE II -HOME HEALTH (Harlan County)
The Cumberland Valley District Health Department is now accepting applications for a full time Local Health Nurse II Home Health for the Harlan County Home Health site. Duties include direct nursing
care provided in the home.
Minimum Qualifications: Must have RN license in Kentucky or compact state and one year Registered Nurse experience. BSN or Master’s Degree in Nursing, Nursing Administration, Nursing Education or Public Health may substitute for one year required experience.
Starting Salary: Hourly $15.79 Bi-weekly: $1184.25

MNT Nutritionist II
The Cumberland Valley District Health Department is accepting applications for a full time MNT Nutritionist II for Clay and/or Harlan County. Duties include providing moderate to complex nutrition services for program clients, medical nutrition therapy, and community education. The position will include travel within the district to include Bell County.
Starting Salary: $15.79--Grade 19
Minimum Qualifications: Must be licensed dietitian (LD) as provided by the Kentucky Board of Licensure and Certification as provided in KRS 310.021 or be certified as a Certified Nutritionist (CN) by the Kentucky State Board of Licensure and Certification as provided in KRS 310.031 and have one (1) year work experience.

Senior Home Health Aide or Home Health Aide
The Cumberland Valley District Health Department is now accepting applications for one position as a full time Senior Home Health Aide for the Bell County Home Health site.
Senior Home Health Aide
Minimum qualifications are: High School Graduate or GED (appropriate aide related experience may be substituted for education requirements on a year-for-year basis for a maximum of four (4) years); Applicant must meet the fulfillment of the required competency evaluation approved by the Cabinet for Health Services and must have two years of compensated experience in a Home Health Agency, all or part of which must have been in the previous 24 months prior to application for employment.
Starting Salary: Hourly $8.90, Bi-weekly $667.50.
If a viable register can not be obtained at the senior level an entry level Home Health Aide may be considered.
